Hey, what’s up, hello

I’m April Moralba and I’m a San Diego based (Philly grown) designer and illustrator obsessed with letters. Before knowing what typography was, I was obsessed with letterforms and their usage. I truly discovered my love of customizing letterforms at Drexel University drawing ambigrams with John Langdon. Hand lettering is still one of my greatest loves but after completing Type West, a post graduate certificate program in Type Design run by the Letterform Archive, I decided I couldn’t get enough and am currently working as a teaching assistant in the program.
